– Generally speaking, it will be wet and grey, says meteorologist on duty at the Meteorological Institute, Håkon Mjeldstad to Dagbladet.
The rain is caused by a front that comes in from the west and gradually moves east.
– Both in Western Norway, as well as in Agder and Telemark, it is already quite cloudy. It has started to rain, but it will only come more during the afternoon. In these areas, most things have given way by the time we get to the evening.
– Then just a white flash
– Consistent and intense rainfall
Although the day starts with staying weather in Eastern Norway, the rain showers will also hit here during the evening.
According to Mjeldstad, it will only rain more and more throughout the day, and between 7 and 8 pm you can expect consistent and intense rainfall.
– There can be anything from a little rain to a good deal, but if I were to estimate how much rain we are talking about, we will end up with somewhere between 10 and 20 millimeters of rain in Oslo.
The meteorologist also says that there is some danger of lightning and thunder.
– For the time being, it does not look like we have to send out any danger warnings, but it is of course something we are following.
