As we have already reported a few days ago, various information indicates that the Galaxy S21 FE will be presented in January. This, during CES 2022 which will take place between the 5th and the 8th of the same month.
However, one of the most credible ‘leakers’ of recent years, Jon Prosser, advanced now that Samsung will yes take advantage of CES, but prefers to launch a day before, to pull all the spotlights for you. Thus, it is very likely that the Galaxy S21 FE will be announced on January 4th.
But… Truth be told… Doesn’t this mean a failure for Samsung?
Who is going to buy a Galaxy S21 when all eyes are on the Galaxy S22 range? Or perhaps more importantly, who is going to buy a Galaxy S21 when all rivals are already betting on their new generation of devices? What is happening to Samsung?
Will Galaxy S21 FE miss Christmas? Samsung’s Fail!?
So, after revealing the final Galaxy S22 Ultra design, Jon Prosser quickly returned to the Internet to reveal everything he knows about the launch of the much-hyped Galaxy S21 FE, claiming that this device, which should have been released in August, but has been pushed back to October, has been pushed back even further to Christmas, and apparently it will only hit shelves in January, most likely a week after its announcement (January 11th).
To get a sense of the situation, in direct comparison to last year’s Galaxy S20 FE, the S21 FE will arrive almost 6 months late. Is it Samsung’s fault? More or less!
Of course, Samsung doesn’t want to launch the device so late… It was all a consequence of the current production difficulties, not only of the SoC itself, but also of other equally important components inside the smartphone.
But, as you may have already noticed, this may be too much of a delay for Samsung!
In the end, as far as we know, mass production of the new Galaxy S22 range will start as early as next month (December), with a view to launching it in February 2022. In other words, the S21 FE will only have 1 month on the market. Before giving way to S22, the following month.
In this way, either the S21 FE comes at an extremely appealing price, or… It’s going to be a giant failure. I’m beginning to believe, honestly, that maybe it would be a good idea to cancel everything, and bet everything on the new range of devices.
Besides, what do you think about all this? Interested in the Galaxy S21 FE? Or will you wait for the 2022 releases? It’s just that at that time, it won’t just be Samsung showing its claws, we’ll also have Xiaomi, Oppo, etc… Share your opinion with us in the comments below.
