The donation of COVID vaccines from the United States Government to Mexico will continue in September with the arrival of 6 million 350 thousand doses, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard announced on Tuesday.
4 million 600 thousand doses will be from the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, while one million 750 thousand doses will be from Moderna, he explained at the conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The chancellor commented that Moderna’s vaccines will correspond to the second doses of which arrived at the end of August.
Moderna injections, which use messenger RNA technology, were used to vaccinate, for example, people between the ages of 18 and 29 in the State of Mexico.
