Brazil –
The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) continues to try to approach Charles Ancelotti to become a coach Brazilian national team. Although, Ancelotti still wants to train Real Madrid.
The Brazil National Team coach seat has remained vacant since Tite’s dismissal after the 2022 World Cup. Carlo Ancelotti is said to be the main candidate to fill the position.
The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has been actively approaching the Italian coach. However, Ancelotti has yet to provide an answer regarding the offer to train the Brazilian national team.
Ancelotti reportedly still wants to continue coaching Real Madrid. Don Carlo is said to be determined to complete his contract with El Real which ends in June 2024.
CBF President, Ednaldo Rodrigues, is still optimistic that Ancelotti will coach the Selecao. He will continue to wait for an answer from Ancelotti.
Ednaldo believes Ancelotti will have an interest in coaching the Brazilian national team. The reason is, the country of Samba is filled with many talents.
Ancelotti has proven he can well develop talent from Brazil at Real Madrid. This was shown by the neat performances of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo with Los Blancos.
“If I was in his position and with the contract, I also would not underestimate the company I work for. I think he has charm for the Brazilian national team, he knows most of the players who have played and who are still playing for the Brazilian national team,” said Ednaldo about Ancelotti quoted from ESPN.
Ednaldo will still wait for Ancelotti’s decision until June. For the time being the coach of the Brazil Senior National Team will be filled by U-20 team coach Mano Menezes.
