Obama was criticized in 2014 for wearing the beige suit or the ‘tan suite’. Republican Peter T. King, for example, said it was “a lack of seriousness” and “as a leader of IS you are not at all afraid of a president in such a costume.” Other voices said it was a stunt by Obama’s PR team to boost election figures.
