Apple could soon launch a monthly subscription system for the iPhone and its other devices.
You may no longer need to purchase theiPhone 14 In the coming months. Do not dream, the Cupertino company has not decided to offer its future flagships but it could launch a very interesting new service.
According to information from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is about to launch a subscription service. The company would apply the principle of subscription to its digital services to the iPhone.
Apple would take a monthly sum in exchange for the right to use an iPhone. This is a strategic turning point in Apple’s business model since until now you had to buy an iPhone at full price or via an operator.
This system would allow Apple to ensure constant income but also to retain even more its users. This is an idea that could only inflate even more the turnover of the iPhone branch which already weighed 192 billion dollars last year.

In return, users would not have to pay a tidy sum at the exit of each iPhone. This subscription would also give them the option to trade in their iPhone for a brand new device.
The terms of this subscription are still under discussion. The amount of the monthly contribution has also not been fixed. This new service could also apply to theiPadto MacBooks or other branded products.
This subscription would be tied to the user’s Apple ID and App Store. This way, the direct debit would be made on the same account so as not to make an additional operation.
Apple has been working on this project for several months but it has been postponed to make way for the “Buty now, pay later” program.
The iPhone subscription could be launched in late 2022 or early 2023.
