During the past week, some rumors spread that March 16 is the date for the first Apple event of this year, but (Mark Gorman) writer on the Bloomberg site published a tweet explaining that Apple will not hold an event on this date, but at the same time it did not It excludes the possibility of Apple setting up an event in the month of March, as it only confirmed that the event will not be held on this particular date.
But has Apple held an event in March before?
It is known that Apple holds its events to reveal new products or operating system releases on fixed dates throughout the year, such as: the WWDC developer conference in June, and Apple’s annual event to reveal the new model of iPhone phones in October.
In addition, in most previous years, Apple was also holding a second event in the same fall that focused on Mac computers specifically, for example: Apple held three events in 2020 to reveal or announce products within only three months, namely: September October and November.
But as for the event of the month of March – spring – it is difficult to predict, in 2020 the company did not hold any event in March due to the spread of the Corona virus, but it announced new models of its devices through press releases only in the months of March and April, respectively.
Whereas in 2019 Apple held an event during the spring semester devoted entirely to the services sector, while in March 2018 it held an event in which it unveiled a new tablet focused on education.
Hence, we find that if the company is on its way to a contract that occurred in March 2021, we expect it to be a hypothetical event due to the continuing spread of the Corona virus. Where many are betting that the establishment of virtual events over the Internet is much easier compared to the events that take place in specific locations, which adds more credibility to the fact that Apple may hold its event next March, to reveal some of its new devices or updates to the current models.
