During the traditional pre-show talk, Johan Derksen asks: “Who are you and what are you doing here?” “I’m Sam”, Wilfred’s replacement laughs. “Wilfred couldn’t be there at the last minute.” Johan now says he fears for the future of Inside today. “You kill every program,” jokes De Snor about ending HLF8.
The faithful VItrio recently also had to deal with a major absence. That was Johan Derksen, who had caught a serious flu. The show must go on, even without presenter Wilfred Genee. Viewers call Wilfred ‘irreplaceable’, but nevertheless believe that Sam is doing ‘fine’.
