Regarding the nature of their participation in the Sheikh Zayed Festival, Al Balushi explained: “This year we are offering approximately eight activities, which we hope will be an addition that combines benefit and enjoyment for festival visitors of all ages. The activities vary between horse riding, caring for animals, playing with them and feeding them, and the Monkey House and the Bird House. Al Balushi added that the total number of creatures included in “Wildlife Secrets” amounts to approximately 400, including 50 species of birds and more than 200 reptiles, pointing out that the birds present include different species, including raptors, small parrots, and Hornbill parrots, which It includes three different species, and macaws that are divided into 10 rare mutations.
While reptiles include rare species, including the spider turtle, which is one of three in the Arab world, the rhino laguana, of which there are only 12 in the Arab world, and four of which are present at the festival, and the gharial crocodile, which is not found in the Arab world, in addition to the Siamese crocodile. It is distinguished by its white color, and it is one of 18 crocodiles in the Arab world. Among the rare animals are the snow leopard, the Siberian mantis tiger, in addition to dwarf cows, and other animals that attract family visitors to the festival and interact with them remarkably.
Al Balushi pointed out that the place also includes the “Al Nawader Café,” which contains a group of albino animals, which suffer from melanin deficiency disease, also known as albinism, which affects humans and animals.
