Wilders: ‘Pure witch hunt, I don’t want to get all Moroccans out of the country’ | Inland

He said that on the last day of his case at the court in the extra-secure judicial complex at Schiphol. The court will give its decision on 4 September.

The politician also says: “Never, except here, have I been called a racist. Mr President, members of the court, I would also have incited hatred against Moroccans, incited my audience, and damaged the reputation of Moroccans. Who makes up something like that? What did I actually say? ”

Wilders finds himself severely curtailed in his freedom. “As an elected politician, I have to be able to say that Moroccans are pretty much overrepresented in all statistics. This is my last word, but I will never be silent. I am not worth the blow if I keep silent about the Moroccan problem. ”

He continues: “I don’t hate anyone, I hate discrimination. I don’t hate all Moroccans nor do I want all Moroccans out of the country. But we do have a life-size problem with Moroccans and Islam. ”

Wilders asked the court for an acquittal. “I didn’t say anything wrong. Leave the debate where it belongs, in parliament ”.

The process has been dragging on for years. The PVV member is on trial for statements he made in March 2014. At a meeting in March of that year, the politician asked his audience three questions: whether they wanted more or less European Union, Labor Party, and finally Moroccans. The audience chanted louder „Less! Less!” as an answer. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the PVV member incited hatred with this.
