Only the expert community came out to discuss the fact that the company had actually decided to promote the Russian MIR system, when the Mash Telegram channel notified that representatives of Wildberries and banking structures had been summoned to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
EADaily reminds that this week a notification appeared on the Wildberries website about a commission of 3% of the total purchase amount for Visa and Mastercard cards.
The source cites a document drawn up on department letterhead. This refers to the beginning of a review by the supervisory authority of information that appeared in the media about “additional commission when purchasing goods using Visa and Mastercard cards”.
The meeting at the Prosecutor General’s Office is scheduled to take place at 17:00 on October 12.
“The specified information is brought to the attention of customers at the time of placing an order,” the marketplace previously notified customers on its website.
At the same time, payments with MIR cards and through the Fast Payment System are possible without commission.
