The launch of Wild Rift is approaching for Brazil, but many Brazilians can be left out if they do not have the necessary devices to enter the game. In this case, the use of emulators ends up being an option to access the game. But, unlike Free Fire, which has a league in Brazil with the public of emulators, Riot Games does not intend to give any kind of support to anyone who plays outside the mobile environment or consoles.
“The way we think about emulators is that we’re not directly supporting them now, but we know that many players around the world want to play on an emulated device, using BlueStacks or something,” explains the communication leader for Wild Rift, Ben Forbes, at a press conference this past week.
“We are still discussing it as a team because it still comes with advantages and disadvantages, and people who don’t have the right device can play Wild Rift but at the same time it will open up the game for security holes and things like that are not present in the mobile version ”, He quotes.
“I don’t think we will be in a situation where we will support emulators in the future. But we are also not in a current position to penalize those who are using them, ”he adds.
Wild Rift is also planned for release on consoles, and for that matter Riot Games also brought some more details on that occasion. Check out all the details in this article. More news about the competitive scenario to be announced by the end of 2021.
