Modder ‘rfuzzo’ has released a new set of AI-enhanced HD textures for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. According to the modder, this package updates all junk textures. The package has a size of 2.2 GB and contains more than 700 objects.
What’s really cool is that this mod is compatible with the amazing The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project. As rfuzzo noted, there are currently 20 conflicts with The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project mod. Thus, this package will enhance numerous textures that have not been updated in the HD Reworked Project.
In more detail, the modder has slightly changed his approach in this package. Since many junk textures are very small (smaller or 512x512px), he intentionally went with a small (excessive) sharpening to very small textures and – in general – did not increase them to 4K. On the other hand, textures that were already 1K or 2K in the main game did not receive such processing and are real 4K.
