sport">M. DI CAMPIGLIO – Wilco Kelderman was still relaxed in Madonna di Campiglio. The little hands in his pockets, smiling, as a sign that he knows exactly what he is doing. The ascent to the resort was used as a warm-up for what’s on the Giro menu on Thursday. It’s called ‘the day of the Stelvio’, a monster climb of 24.7 km at 7.5% that Kelderman explored in the run-up to this Giro. There he will have to drive João Almeida out of the pink, especially because his chances are drastically reduced afterwards.
