The first challenge for coach Franco Foda at champions FC Zurich is: FC Wil. The Challenge League club travels to Uitikon on Saturday afternoon, where FCZ wants to celebrate football in the country.

It is something like Zurich’s counterpart to FC St.Gallen’s “Espen on Tour” campaign: FC Zurich is also traveling to the football province around the city, to Uitikon, Thalwil or Hausen am Albis, for test matches this summer . First approach of the newcomers to the team

Staubli was last loaned out to Vaduz by FC St.Gallen and has now joined Wilern, while Nico Maier is on loan from the Young Boys. Another new signing from Wiler is Ismajl Beka, who is returning to Wiler after a two-year detour to Rapperswil-Jona.

In the next three weeks, Wiler will play three more friendlies, including against another traditional opponent: Austria Lustenau. The Wilers will then play against the promoted team in the Austrian Bundesliga in a week. Two more tests against Austrian opponents follow: Dornbirn and Wacker Innsbruck.
