WiFi evolves so quickly that it puts other technologies into question and this is once again proven with WiFi7. This new standard is already known and even commercialized, but it does not yet have a final specification. Almost everyone has certainly heard about WiFi 7. This will soon be the new standard for wireless connections and to allow users even faster and much more efficient communication speeds to connect mobile devices to local networks and the Internet.
Although there are already devices with WiFi 7 support on sale, this new standard does not yet have its final specification.  The Wi-Fi Alliance has now announced that this specification is about to arrive and should be closed and ready for use in the first quarter of 2024.
The good news is that this certification can be applied to equipment that is already available.  If WiFi 7 devices are already on the market, Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7 will facilitate global interoperability and bring advanced WiFi performance across all locations for the next era of connected devices.

Faster speeds and connections
This specification will allow wireless connections to reach breakneck speeds, reaching up to 40 Gbit/s.  Which makes it a perfect alternative to the normal cable connection found in all physical locations, with the advantage of being completely mobile.
This new specification achieves these speeds using three frequency bands: 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, which utilize 320 MHz channel width and 4096-QAM.  In fact, WiFi 7 builds on what the WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E specs started with, including speed-boosting connections like MU-MIMI and OFDMA.  In total, the advance represents a 4.8 times improvement over WiFi 6.
WiFi 7 offers a superior connection for countless uses with high levels of interaction and immersion.  In fact, as demand for low-latency technologies increases, such as augmented reality, virtual reality, cloud computing and IoT solutions, WiFi 7 devices will be able to offer optimized performance even in denser environments, in the 2.4 bands. and 5GHz.
