Wife of Southeast Sulawesi Governor Agista Ariani Dies

The wife of the Governor of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) Ali Mazi, Agista Ariani, has died. This news was confirmed by the chairman of the Southeast Sulawesi DPRD, Abdurrahman Saleh.

“Yes, Mrs. Gista is dead,” said Abdurrahman to Mr detik.com, Tuesday (13/7/2021).

However, Abdurrahman admitted that he did not know much about the cause of Gista’s death. Because, he has been hospitalized for 14 days because he is positive for COVID-19.

“I got this COVID, I can’t comment yet. It’s been 14 days of quarantine,” he said.

The sad news was also received by the Deputy Chairman of the Southeast Sulawesi DPRD, Jumardin. The Democratic politician got the news from a WhatsApp message.

“Recently I received news on WhatsApp saying innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun for the death of the Governor’s mother,” he said.

From the information received, Agista passed away in Kendari at around 17.30 WITA this afternoon. There is no further information regarding the cause of Agista’s death.
