Russian figure skater and part-time wife of the Russian dictator’s press secretary Tatyana Navka spoke out against Moscow’s decision not to allow athletes to attend the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
She made a scandalous statement in comments to Russian media, reports Dialogue.UA.
Let us note that, despite the indignation of the world community, the IOC allowed athletes from the aggressor countries of Russia and Belarus to participate in the 2024 Games. A limited number of athletes from these two countries will be able to take part in the competition only in a neutral status.
It is significant that the neutral status did not suit the Kremlin and it refused to participate in the Olympics.
Navka considered this decision to be wrong and spoke publicly about it.
“The Russian athlete who will stand on the podium during the Olympics is the flag and anthem of our homeland“, said a representative of the Putin regime.
In her opinion, Russians will “cry with happiness” because of the participation of their athletes in the 2024 Olympic Games.
“If an athlete is not forced to speak out or do anything against his homeland, what’s wrong with being neutral? I don’t see anything wrong. We already went to the Olympic Games without a flag and anthem“, said Peskov’s wife.
She considered it wrong that sports officials were depriving their athletes of a chance to participate in the Games.
Navka’s statement caused a violent reaction from Russians, especially the so-called “Z-patriots”. They attacked Peskov’s wife with insults, accusing her of “selling out to the West” and being a “traitor.”
“What other position could one expect from Navka, who lived almost her entire life in the West? It costs her nothing to betray Russia!

She worships the West, like almost all officials! Just pretending to be a patriot!
Neutral status is humiliation. Only a person devoid of principles and love for his homeland does not understand this“, write indignant Russians.
Dialog.UA previously reported that Russian state employees forced buy tickets to the show of the wife of Putin’s secretary Navka.
