Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) Police said that Gilang Widya Pramana alias skipper 99 status as a witness to the case reported by his wife, Sandy Purnamasari.
In this case, the statement also clarifies the previous Police statement which stated that Gilang was being policed.
“Brother Gilang is a witness to the reporter, Sandi Purnamasari,” said the Head of the Public Information Section (Kabagpenum) of the National Police, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, to reporters, Tuesday (22/3).
Gatot explained that the reported person in this case was Putra Siregar (PS). The report is registered in Number: LP/B/484/VIII/2021/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri dated August 13, 2021.
In the report, Putra Siregar and two other parties were suspected of violating trademarks.
“Reported Putra Siregar, PT PS Glow and PT Eka Jaya,” he explained.
The dispute that resulted in reporting related to the trademark began when the wife of Juragan 99 who owns MS Glow reported Putra Siregar for the use of the PS Glow brand.
In that case, the Juragan 99 camp considers the reported party to have violated Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Marks and Geographical Indications Article 100 Paragraphs 1, 2 and Article 102, crimes related to trade secrets Article 17 in conjunction with Article 13 and Article 14, Fraud/Cheating Act Number 1 of 1946 concerning the Criminal Code, Article 378 of the Criminal Code and Article 55, Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
