It’s no secret that Oktoberfest isn’t exactly cheap. If you want to indulge in a big meal and a beer or two, you’ll lose a whopping 50 euros.
However, those who want to visit Käfer-Wiesn-Schänke won’t go very far on this budget. There you can only pay for two fruit brandies for 50 euros.
The Käfer tent is known as “The Place to be” at Oktoberfest: all in Munich who are of rank and name and who belong or want to belong to the rich and beautiful gather in the wooden tavern at the foot of the Bavarian statue. There is almost everything your heart desires to drink and eat – after all, the “Käfer” brand stands for delicacy and great pleasure.
Celebrities, gastronomy and a rustic setting with live music – it really feels like a perfect visit to the Wiesn. If it weren’t for the prices.
Not as expensive as here: price shock in the Käfer-Wiesn-Schänke
In general, if you want to have a drink or two in the Käfer tent, you need the necessary change. While the price of beer does not differ significantly from that of other marquees, wine and grappa get expensive.
A glass of white wine (0.2 liters) costs 14.50 euros. The prices of bottles of white and red wine start at around 50 euros and end at 685 euros. A shot of Obstler costs 20 euros and a 1.75-liter bottle of Gray Goose Vodka can be purchased for 420.50 euros.
The decline of the most expensive product in the Käfer paper cannot be overcome: a nine-liter (!) Bottle of Laurent-Perrier champagne, the “Brut Salmanazar” edition. Price? 2290 euros. If you want to buy this bottle regularly, you would have to pay around 850 euros online.
But food prices have it in themselves. A cheese platter for € 22.50, a giant pretzel for € 7.50. A piece of butter costs another three euros more. For a main course you pay on average around 40 euros.
If you want it exclusive, you can also order a corn fattened goose with side dishes for 4-5 people. Proudly, he owed him 232.50 euros. Normal earnings should also think twice about dessert: a chocolate cake with a liquid core costs 17.80 euros.

Buden wear in front of the beetle – 650 euros for a cuddly tiger
Almost directly in front of the Käfer tent there is a stand selling typical Oktoberfest stuffed animals, accessories and souvenirs. Among cute miniature unicorns, minions and teddy bears you will also find an XXXL plush tiger. Here, however, not only the tiger, but also the price is enormous.
