It looks like Rachel Hazes will get her own real life soap, following her son André. And although no channel has officially been found to broadcast it, it is whispered in Hilversum that SBS6 will broadcast the soap, according to De Telegraaf. Football analyst Johan Derksen is by no means a fan. “Since Hazes’ death, she has been exploiting the role of ‘the grieving widow’.”

It was during ‘De Oranjezomer’, a talk show broadcast from a campsite in the province of Gelderland, that the possible reality soap was discussed. The soap will be made by Vincent TV Productions, the production house that made Chateau Meiland, and will most likely be broadcast on the Dutch channel SBS6.
Notorious football analyst Derksen is certainly not set up. “Look, that one old Hazes had a throat and that is the greatest folk singer we have ever had. And they (Rachel, red.) is not to be envied, because she was more or less married off to that Hazes by two hysterical parents. But since Hazes’ death, she has been exploiting the role of ‘the grieving widow’. (…) And she suffers from overestimation. Because she thinks that hysterical behavior of hers, with those children, is interesting for people. That’s a misconception. It’s disgusting.”
