‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman passed away on August 28, 2020 from complications of colon cancer. Since then, his widow, Simone Ledward Boseman (30), has been committed to the organization Stand Up To Cancer. It organized a TV broadcast last weekend in which a lot of stars – such as Reese Witherspoon, Chris Evans and Paul Rudd – made their appearance. Simone was also featured in it. She sang an emotional version of Eddie Heywood’s song “I’ll Be Seeing You” in honor of her late husband.

Her performance was preceded by a speech by actor Anthony Anderson, known for ‘Black-ish’. “Many of us were horrified to learn of Chadwick Boseman’s tragic passing after privately battling cancer for years. The world lost an incredible artist and a true hero. But long before he became a public figure, he was also a human being like you and me: a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a friend, a colleague and a husband. Many of us are all too familiar with the wound the death of a loved one inflicts on the lives of those we love. That’s why Chadwick’s wife Simone will be performing a song about learning to live with the reality of loss and finding a way forward.”
