Wide Daily Temperature Range and Subzero Temperatures: Winter Weather Update in Korea

The weekend was mostly clear across the country, with the daily temperature difference widening to around 15 degrees, showing early winter weather.

The lowest temperature on the morning of the 21st was -3 degrees in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, and ranged from -3 to 11 degrees, including 5 degrees in Seoul, 15 degrees in Jeju, and 3 degrees in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do.

The highest daytime temperature ranged from 14 to 20 degrees, including 16 degrees in Seoul and 19 degrees in Daegu, with the daily temperature range widening to around 15 degrees.

On the morning of the 22nd, Sunday, the lowest temperature will range from 0 to 11 degrees, with frost falling mainly in the inland and ice forming in some places, especially in the Gangwon inland and mountainous areas.

Gwangju and Jeonnam also showed cold weather, with mostly cloudy weather and a wide daily temperature range of around 15 degrees.

The lowest temperature this morning was the lowest at 3 degrees in Suncheon, 8 degrees in Gwangju, and 11 degrees in Mokpo, ranging from 3 to 11 degrees, about 3 to 6 degrees lower than on the 20th.

The highest daytime temperature was 17 to 20 degrees, including 16 degrees in Suncheon, 17 degrees in Yeonggwang, and 18 degrees in Gwangju, with the daily temperature range widening to around 15 degrees.

On Sunday the 22nd, the lowest morning temperature will range from 4 to 11 degrees, including 8 degrees in Gwangju and 11 degrees in Mokpo, and cold weather will continue, with frost falling mainly inland.
