Whyte didn’t come to Fury, the “Gypsy King” knocked him out with a chin lifter

British boxer Tyson Fury knocked out in the title match at London’s Wembley in the 6th round of compatriot Dillian Whyte and defended the WBC heavyweight championship belt.

The 33-year-old champion recorded his 32nd victory in the professional ring, from which he leaves undefeated. He announced before the duel that today’s duel will be his last.

“I promised my wonderful wife Paris that it would be over after this fight. And I meant it,” Fury confirmed. He sent Whyte to the ground in front of 94,000 spectators with a right chin lifter. The challenger a year older rose, but was clearly unable to continue and the referee ended the match.

The self-proclaimed “Gypsy King” Fury recorded his 32nd victory in the 33rd duel, of which he did not win only the first of three duels with the American Deontay Wilder in December 2018, which ended in a draw. Whyte suffered a third defeat in 28 wins (19 ko).

Originally, Fury sought a so-called unification duel with compatriot Anthony Joshua, but he lost the remaining belts of the main organizations WBA, IBF and WBO last September after the defeat by the Ukrainian challenger Alexander Usyk.

The fight with Whyt was about 41 million dollars, Fury received 80 percent of the generous reward.
