The head coach of the ULEB Euroleague club Belgrade “Partizan” Želko Obradović expressed the opinion that the league needs such teams.
“To be honest, the number of people who talk about Partizan, the number of people who travel to our games from all kinds of cities from all over Europe…Euroleague needs a club like Partizan,” said the experienced coach.

Last season, “Partizan” returned to the Euroleague after an eight-season break. In the main tournament, the team took sixth place, but in the quarter-finals, they lost to Real Madrid 2-3 in a dramatic battle, although the Belgrade team was leading 2-0.
“Partizan” played their home games in “Štark Arena”, whose 18,386 seats were always filled.
