However, even with the anticipated upgrade, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is not a laptop you should consider. The MacBook Air laptops offer more value for less money, while the larger MacBook Pro laptops offer more power. The 13-inch MacBook Pro fails to excel in either category. Instead, opt for the upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring M2 Pro or M2 Max chips, providing twenty percent faster performance and up to thirty percent faster graphics. These laptops can be configured with up to 96GB of RAM. Alternatively, the M1-powered MacBook Air remains the cheapest MacBook available and offers impressive flexibility to meet most consumer demands. Don’t waste your time or money on the 13-inch MacBook Pro.
