Why Vaccinating Children Against Covid-19 is Important – Latest Updates and Vaccination Day Information

Matías and Ornella, 9 and 11 years old, have not been vaccinated against the Coronavirus. Their father is a well-known businessman in the local sphere and says that he decided not to vaccinate minors because he believes that they do not get sick and in the case of their children generally do not suffer from respiratory diseases.

Even though an important amount of information regarding the Covid-19 pandemic has been registered, resistance persists among some sectors of society to inoculate themselves; Nor are the deaths of babies, adults and the elderly a sufficient argument to carry out this process.

It would be thought that ignorance could be a justification for many not wanting to get vaccinated, however, the mortality rate, the serious sequelae and the impacts that this health phenomenon had in various areas have not been the necessary justification for this father of family, named David, allow their children to receive the immune system and more so now that the pandemic is over.

According to the latest data published by the government of the Mexican Republic, 79 percent of the adult population in Mexico has at least one vaccine against Covid-19 and it is indicated that it is in the young sector where this lag most exists.
