The Ministry of Defense explained why mobilize citizens no military experience.

“We were ready for this war as far as our capabilities allowed us. That is why the enemy could not instantly achieve his goals, and the Armed Forces stopped the enemy’s offensive activity,” she said.

The Deputy Minister stressed that this is not just a war, but the historical mission of Ukraine – to defeat the eternal enemy.

“Now we are at the peak of our strength and unity. Therefore, there is a chance to finally put an end to the imperial ambitions of the Russian Federation,” added Malyar.

She recalled that according to the law, the number of Armed Forces of Ukraine is 261,000, of which 215,000 are military.

They protect 1,800 kilometers of front and 42 million people.

“In wartime, mobilized people are added to these 215 thousand. Remember these numbers when you write posts and comments asking why you are being mobilized if you have never held a weapon in your hands. Military registration specialties are taught from 5 to 15 days. And today For the defense of the state, everyone who is mobilized is needed,” the Deputy Minister noted.

She added that this war will last for a certain time, because “the larger the goal, the more effort and time it will take to achieve it.”

“So get ready to win. Stop worrying and nervous, start sleeping well and exercise whenever possible – because to achieve victory you need strength. And finally – make a list of things that you should do first of all after winning,” Malyar summed it up.

Mobilization in Ukraine: what is known

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, almost 100% of the registered reservists have already arrived in their combat military units and today they are performing defense tasks.

Other citizens who did not previously serve, but were mobilized, are sent to the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where they undergo appropriate training, and after that – to military units.
