Destroying the launchers from which the Russians launch Shahid attacks on Ukraine is a complex issue, Oleg Zhdanov said. If we had the opportunity, we would do so, but so far, unfortunately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have such an opportunity.
Oleg Zhdanov spoke about the difficulties associated with the destruction of launchers for Shaheds on the channel YouTube.
A military expert explained why we are unable to destroy the drone launchers themselves: “Catching the launcher is useless, I’ll tell you right away. It is necessary to visually observe it, that is, the fire spotter must be there, see this launcher, note the time when it arrived, give the command to open fire so that the missile or projectile has time to reach this launcher before it leaves the position. This is the kitchen.”
Then Oleg Zhdanov explained why even with long-range missiles, hitting such targets would be problematic: “If we had ballistic missiles or the same ATACMS for the M142 HIMARS with a range of 300 km, then the situation there is much better, because I entered the coordinates into the computer, Immediately the system determines the data for launching the missile. Press the button – the missile goes away, and after 3-4 minutes the missile is in the target area. 3-4 minutes, and what if during this time the launcher curled up and left?“
Earlier, Zhdanov told why the West would soon “slap him on the wrist” for Putin’s reckless step.
Zhdanov also spoke about Prigozhin’s repeated “march of justice,” which is now taking place in the Russian Federation.
