TRX-293, Trinity for short, is only the third T. Rex worldwide to go under the hammer. It will be offered on April 18 at the Koller auction house in Zurich as part of the “Out of this world 2” auction.
The age of the Tyrannosaurus Rex begins in Switzerland with the landing of a Lufthansa plane at Zurich Airport. It’s mid-December 2022, and the king of dinosaurs is still resting in nine large wooden boxes. Its 293 elements are packed in foam, and an iron frame with a bone construction plan is also included, according to which the T. rex is later to be assembled like gigantic Ikea furniture.
