Why the actress was spotted in the retirement home

She is lying on a lounger with sunglasses and headphones, two other women next to her, drinks on the tables: Uschi Glas seemed to be having a good time in a Hamburg senior citizens’ facility when a reporter spotted her there. Has the actress moved?

Uschi Glas (80) told the newspaper “Bild am Sonntag” four years ago that moving into a nursing home would be out of the question for her. She feels “in the middle of life”, walks 10,000 steps every day and keeps fit with power yoga, among other things. Has she changed her mind or has her energy waned? After all, the Munich woman was recently tracked down in a senior citizens’ housing complex in Hamburg.

But the all-clear: The mother of three and grandmother of four is still in top shape and in demand at work as ever: The scene that shows her on a lounger in a retirement home is part of a comedy for which the actress is currently in front of the camera. “The four of us and the grandchild trick” is the working title of the TV film, which was written by screenwriter Kai Kreuser (31), who was nominated for the Grimme Prize. The director is Mia Spengler (38), who has already made two “Tatort” films, among other things.

Uschi Glas is now looking forward to being back in Munich

In the new comedy, Uschi Glas plays the grandmother Irene, who falls for con artists and then decides to move into a home so as not to be a burden to her children. Instead of a comfortable retirement, however, new friends await them there, who not only bring a stir into their lives, but soon also turn the criminals’ lives upside down.

In addition to “Fack ju Göhte” star Uschi Glas, the “four” from the title also include “Miss Merkel” actress Katharina Thalbach (70), Ursula Werner (81), “The boy has to get some fresh air” and according to ” Luxemburger Wort” interview with Thalbach “a colleague from South Korea”.

The filming was a real highlight for the residents of the retirement home, especially since they were even allowed to take part as extras. According to the “Bild” newspaper, Uschi Glas also had a lot of fun with her colleagues, but is also “really looking forward” to her home in Munich, where her husband Dieter Hermann (74), “the love of my life,” is with her waits.
