Why RTL could make the Benediktushöhe in Retzbach the new “Bachelor” villa

Gemünden is said to be plagued by train noise like no other place in Germany. A local resident claims to have found out. If only those affected could at least prepare themselves mentally for the fact that another train rushes past with a deafening noise… but unfortunately the Deutsche Bahn is never on time. Important moments in life can quickly be ruined. “Sabine, I love you. Would you like my fr…?” RMSCHMRSCHMMRSCHM RMSCHMRSCHMMRSCHM. “What are you saying honey? I can’t understand you!”

It is therefore not surprising that the construction of noise protection walls in Gemünden has been delayed. Unfortunately, in this case there is no money back and no alternative connection.

Why not Retzbach instead of Mexico?

The market town of Zellingen would also have been happy about an alternative. There they were not so enthusiastic this week that the Benediktushöhe is now to be used temporarily as accommodation for refugees; one would rather have wished for an offer for tourists in the building. CDU leader Friedrich Merz would probably not understand the difference.

In the long term, the Diocese of Würzburg wants to continue selling the Benediktushöhe. Only to whom? The TV station RTL might be interested. After all, the format “The Bachelor” always requires extraordinary real estate. Why not Retzbach instead of Mexico? That would definitely be more climate-friendly than flying the bachelor and his “admirers” halfway around the world.

Will the Benediktushöhe get another pool?

After all, this time there is even a candidate from Lohr who wouldn’t have to go far. In the TV show, Alyssa joins 23 other women in vying for the affections of a male model. This concept could easily be condemned as medieval, but the proportion of women on the screen is higher than on any DAX board. In any case, Alyssa from Lower Franconia says that her constant companion is faith. And not the belief that there will soon be noise barriers in Gemünden (that would also be absurd), but the Christian belief. Ideal conditions, then, to stir the drum for the deal with RTL in the diocese.

Now one could object that the Benediktushöhe is not exotic enough to be suitable as a bachelor’s villa. She would at least need a large pool or a private beach. It is possible that others have already come up with this obvious idea and want to help out on their own: That would explain why three buckets of sand were stolen in Hofstetten this week.

We’ll find out because the police won’t have any trouble catching the bad guys. Anyone who has ever been on a beach holiday knows that the traces of a stay at the beach can still be found in your suitcase years later.
