The Russian Cup match between Spartak and Zenit took place on Sunday, November 27.
The match ended 0-0, with Zenit winning on penalties. But the game isn’t remembered for that.
The players have decided to organize mass brawl at the end of the game. The conflict between Quincy Promes and Wilmar Barrios arose after the whistle for the end of playing time, Shamar Nicholson, Daler Kuzyaev and other players immediately intervened and it all turned into a brawl involving, among others, substitutes and club employees.
During the fight, Rodrigao kicked Nicholson, struck back with punches in the face, and Alexander Sobolev, who had already been replaced by that time, beat Barrios with his hands.
At the end of the episode, Chief Justice Vladimir Moskalev showed red cards to Alexander Sobolev, Shamar Nicholson, Alexander Selikhov, Vilmar Barrios, Rodrigao and Malcolm.
