This week’s guest was the beautiful and talented woman Isobel Kinnearfinalist in the dance category and ousted only at the end by the overall winner Mattia Zenzola.
Friends, Isobel explains why she chose the Italian program
As always Lorella puts the kids at ease, making some introductory chat: l‘former showgirl asked the dancer how she felt after the experience of hosting Full Out, the concert that saw many of the former students as protagonists. Then various issues were addressed, including the question that all the fans asked themselves: but how come Isobel has done so many kilometers? Because the excellent finalist comes from Australia, on the other side of the planet…
“The sad thing is that in Australia we don’t have that opportunity. We have a. lot of artists, talents… but there is no support for art. In Australia it’s a difficult thing. For the singers a little we have ‘The Voice’, but it’s on the air for six weeks, very little. And nobody looks at it. […] Fifteen years, ever since I heard about this show I’ve been saying, ‘I have to do this’. And I’m someone who when I want something, or someone tells me I can’t do something… (he makes a sign to pound his hand)“. These are the words of Isobel.
Furthermore, in the interview the dancer got to talk about her relationship with Alessandra Celentano, her reference teacher known for her severity, but who, throughout the year, did nothing but praise her pupil. Here are the girl’s words about the teacher: “She’s gorgeous. It was difficult at first because she didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Italian. […] But we are very similar. […] In general I am too grateful for what she has done for me“.
