‘Why is the owner of Robin Bus so angry, let him go to court?’: KB Ganeshkumar MLA

KB Ganesh Kumar MLA asked why Robin bus owner is so angry. Ganesh Kumar said that instead of making such a fuss, he can directly go to the court.

‘Why are you making such a fuss with such unnecessary news? He can go to court. If the court says he can run boldly. Will anyone dare to speak against what the court has said. Let it do that. I am not saying that I have a law in hand, but if you want a clarification of that law, approach the High Court. This vehicle was seized in Tamil Nadu for violating the law. The minister here is also M. D. Diumallo from Tamil Nadu. Therefore, only the court has the authority to resolve the dispute in this regard. The reason for getting so much support is due to excessive publicity through social media. Nothing else beyond that. There is a law in this country and only according to it anyone can live here’. Ganesh Kumar said.

Meanwhile, Robin Bus owner Girish said that the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Department has informed that after consulting the Kerala government, the fine for permit violation will be released and paid. He informed that the decision to continue the service no matter what the crisis may be. Girish is planning to approach the Tamil Nadu High Court on the issue.

Last day Robin Bus was taken into custody by the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Department. Gandhipuram RTO detained the bus for violating the permit. Bus owner Robin Girish said that the RTO is not clarifying what the violation is. Robin Bus, which operates with an All India Tourist Permit, was earlier stopped by the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Department at Coimbatore Chavadi. It was also suggested to shift the bus to Gandhipuram central RTO office. After this, the bus was taken into custody.

Meanwhile, the High Court will today hear a plea filed by the KSRTC alleging illegality in the All India Tourist Permit Rules. The main demand in the petition is to restrict the vehicles that have taken All India Tourist Permit through nationalized route. The purpose of the petition is to stop the Robin Bus that operates from Pathanamthitta to Coimbatore via the National Highway on the basis of All India Permit. The current allegation is that contract carriage vehicles with All India Tourist Permits are being used as stage carriages.
