Incidence rate too high
In all, 54 departments are still concerned by the wearing of masks in schools due to the health crisis in Covid-19. Indeed, to lighten the health protocol in schools, the executive has set a criterion: the incidence rate must be less than 50 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants. five consecutive days.
However, in Seine-Saint-Denis, although in constant decline for several weeks, the incidence rate is still above the alert threshold of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Sunday October 3, 2021, it was 77 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
For the moment, it is therefore still level 2 of the health protocol in schools that applies: wearing a mask, limiting student mixing and contact sports prohibited indoors.
