Competition Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia from MotoGP Japan 2022 ended up in the gravel. Interestingly, he clapped his hands after falling. What does it mean?
Bagnaia, in an attempt to overtake Fabio Quartararo, made a mistake so much that he suffered a low side accident in the Motegi race on Sunday (25/9) WIB afternoon.

One thing that stole the attention on the track at the time was Bagnaia seen clapping on gravel. Former driver Carlos Checa expressed his views on the matter.
“He’s just cheering ironically,” Checa said DAZN.
“‘Bravo Pecco, you made a mistake again’. Fabio did not make a mistake, this is my opinion”.

Checa’s hypothesis turned out to be correct. After the race, as reported Autosport, Bagnaia made it clear that his sarcastic applause was self-directed. Not only that, he admitted he crashed because of her.
“I made a big mistake, I was wrong too. I tried to overtake but I couldn’t. (Although) this morning everything was perfect in the warm up”, said Bagnaia as reported by Motosano.
