It cannot come as a surprise, and yet it continues to amaze. When meeting old childhood friends who used to be blonde, the hair color often catches the eye. Old acquaintances suddenly look very different after all these years. Photo albums with old family snapshots are also intriguing. “Why is it that blonde children often have darker hair later in life?” asks Bart T’Jampens. “That question occurred to me while I was looking at photos of my godson.”
