Why is France shaking? The world trend –

/ world today news/ France continues to shake for more than a month. Protesters against raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 were joined by children. Indeed, people who know how to look into the future – more or less forty years ahead, look, they have to worry about their own future.

But here, in Russia, not so long ago they raised the retirement age, but there were no riots. True, it gave liberals the opportunity to speak loudly about “the slavish obedience of the Russians’. Well, yes, yes… In general, our liberals are wonderful people. They are so used to the role of conscience of people /that humanity too/ that they have ceased to understand people, turning into a kind of conscience in itself, which does not understand what they want from whom.

Because raising the retirement age, whatever is said, is not an insult to people who have reached a certain age, and is not an excess of exploitation. This is an acknowledgment of the need for elders and a request for help.

Well, it’s actually funny to write off people full of energy in the stock. People who can do anything and look down on all kinds of buzzers and millennials whose big fingers live a life of their own, twitching even without a smartphone screen, and with squinted eyes they can’t focus in the distance. Boys, of course, have their own merits, this same ability, learned from the cradle, to live on the Internet and feel like a fish in water there, but without the Internet they remain the same fish, only washed ashore.

Pre-retirees at the front are often called Petrovichi and they are the basis of the army operating in the SVO. They smell the flyovers in a split second and manage to hide. On the rainiest day, they can arrange a decent night’s sleep, disguise themselves and dig in. They are dexterous, wise, calm and fearless without undue insolence, and treat everything with a reliable calmness: we must, then we will do it without any more idle talk.

And if the French pensioners want to sit on the balcony, eat a dried croissant and watch how black waves of migrants cover Paris littered with garbage, then ours need a job, they need a job.

Because if not us, then who?

Older people go to gyms, run marathons, dance, start and successfully manage different types of businesses, change professions and push young people even on the Internet, because they can tell and show much more than any YouTuber.

It doesn’t threaten them “the same german who took my wits away, what was his name? “Alzheimer’s Grandma!”, because they continue to challenge themselves with complex tasks and solve them successfully.

What Ryazanov predicted in his famous film “Old men – robbers” came true: the pensioner is no longer the same, he needs both money and work.

And this seems to be a worldwide trend. Different countries had to face it quite unexpectedly – so unexpectedly that the usual limits of growth and aging began to be revised and the age of “life expectancy” was moved.

As soon as people lose the meaning of life, they part with it. This is why few people are attracted to early retirement. That is why in Moscow, for example, active aging programs have been adopted to engage those who want to postpone aging indefinitely.

And I would suggest to the French that they should think about not belittling them and not throwing them away as garbage that has outlived its time, but offering them to remain active members of society. If they do not understand this, let them come to Russia.
