Actually, there are almost no famous franchises and blockbusters where Chris Pratt does not show up. The actor scores one big role after another and his films are extremely popular, but he himself is often criticized and he doesn’t really have that many fans at all. How come?
In the beginning of his career Pratt really only managed to get small roles and always played the ‘comedy nut’, but in a few years he completely turned this around and became one of the most famous names in Hollywood.
Career
For example, he is the face of The Guardians of the Galaxyhe has starred in several MCU movies and is the lead actor in the last three Jurassic Worldfilms, of which the new (and last?) part can be seen this summer.
Although these films and countless other projects in which the actor can be seen score highly, he still receives a lot of criticism. It has even gotten so bad that several people want to work him out of Marvel and celebrities such as James Gunn stood up for Pratt. But what exactly is this about?
Faith
Pratt is enrolled in Hillsong Church, an infamous church known for giving more rights to the wealthy and not admitting everyone. For example, two different church leaders have already made homophobic remarks and spoken negatively about homosexuality.
Pratt, however, stood up for the church and said that it is by no means an anti-LGBTQ+ organization, but that everyone is welcome.

However, it didn’t stop there. Last year, Pratt again faced a lot of criticism when he posted a message on social media in which he thanked his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger for “the gift of a healthy daughter“.
Some people saw this as a slap in the face to his ex, Anna Faris, with whom the actor also has a son. However, the boy was born prematurely and had to be hospitalized.
Succes
Still, all the actor’s films are successful. Whether it’s his adventures as Star-Lord in the MCU, the Jurassic World movies or other blockbusters like The Lego Movie, The Magnificent Seven of recent The Tomorrow Warthe actor continues to score.
Today it doesn’t take much to get “cancelled” in Hollywood, but fortunately Pratt is nothing serious and he jumps the dance. It is therefore only about rumors and stories that may not even be true and the fact that everyone in Hollywood itself is positive about Pratt also says a lot.
