Rule number one in the program Hunted is to never go into hiding in your own hometown or family circle. These places are easy for the investigation service to find. However, Jort and Tim from Brabant do not seem to respond to this during their participation in the program, because in the sixth episode of the season you can see that the two go into hiding with Tim’s uncle Roel in Helmond. Viewers don’t understand why. ‘Why do those two Helmond residents keep hanging around in their own network? You’re signing your own death warrant!’ someone writes on ‘X’.
This is not the only rule they ignore, because the gentlemen also use electronics on which they can be followed. It does not take long until the exact location of the people from Brabant is found by the investigation service.
Shortly afterwards, Tim and Jort are arrested by them. The duo does not understand how they were caught and this only seems to irritate the viewers even more. ‘In your own network and place of residence. But if you are stopped, you shout ‘how’ in surprise,’ writes an angry viewer.
Most viewers are happy that they have been arrested: ‘Man, get rid of this duo. That damned private network again and again. Fuck off with that amateurish mistake.’ Another wrote: ‘As far as I’m concerned, anyone who remains in their own network can be arrested immediately. Amateurs.’ This viewer also agrees: ‘They deserve to be caught, you idiots.’
Now that Jort and Tim have been caught, the count for the hunters is six. They still have to catch three duos. Watch the episode again via this link.
