Why I’m in favor of everyone being able to change their gender

It only took two minutes for a 23-year-old Swiss woman to become a woman – at least on paper. But his plan to avoid conscription in this way did not work out. Because at the time the man was already registered with the army. What he says he did “half as a joke, half as a protest” has a serious background. Since 2022, anyone in Switzerland has been able to easily change their gender entry. The aim is to help trans people, intersex people and non-binary people.
