Two-month-old Lilibet Diana has not yet appeared at any event organized by the royal family and her parents have not even published a photo of the child. Given that little Lilibet has not yet been christened, the world still does not know what a new member of the British monarchy looks like.
“Members of the royal family usually showed the child when leaving the maternity hospital, or at the baptism, which took place six months or more from the birth of the child,” Kamil Rodan, an expert on the British royal family, told TN.cz. therefore, it would not have meant that much.
“The fact that they didn’t show the child is their free choice, and it’s a question of whether they want to protect him or, rather, make money in the photos,” Rodan suggested.
One reason for not introducing the daughter could be postponing the baptism at which Prince Harry allegedly wants his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. “The queen used to attend most of the baptisms, but this is no longer the rule. She was not attended the baptism ceremony of all the children of Prince William, only the eldest descendant,” Rodan said.
