International is at the heart of the GEM Grande Ecole Program

In order to obtain their diploma, all students must have completed at least one semester abroad. They have the opportunity to have their international experience in different ways:

  • Academic exchange of one semester or one year, from L3
  • Double degree at a partner university
  • Transcontinental Journey
  • MSc Finance & Investment Banking in Singapore
  • Internship abroad
  • Humanitarian mission with the student association “Savoir Dare la Solidarité”

Among these courses which make it possible to validate the international experience obligatory at GEM, we can dwell on several types of possibilities.

The Transcontinental course: a factor of international influence for students and GEM

The Transcontinental Pathway is a semester of specialization with a partner university selected for its expertise. Three routes are offered:

  • Cambridge (Master 1, semester 1) – General Management specialization
  • New York (Master 1, semester 2) – Finance specialization
  • Montreal (Master 2, semester 1) – International Management Specialization

It is entirely possible to combine them, or to combine a semester in the Transcontinental Program and a semester in exchange.

The difference of the Transcontinental Journey with an exchange? Students leave in groups of 20-30 people (compared to 2-3 people per exchange destination) and will meet GEM teachers on site who will provide part of the lessons, alongside teachers from the partner establishment.
