These words are confirmed by the sales results of HMD Global, the manufacturer of Nokia phones, which reportedly sells tens of thousands of simple phones monthly in the US alone.

The quoted president of the company, Lars Silberbauer, explains that purchases are made by customers from different age groups, but he does not hide his satisfaction with the renaissance of technology. As he proudly argues, keeping the classics on offer made sense.

Of course, one may wonder whether the biggest problem is actually the excess of stimuli. Another rational argument for the return of the classics is, for example, the desire to stand out from the crowd, since even top smartphones have become so commonplace that they do not impress anyone.

Either way, it’s hard to argue with hard data, and it’s clear from these that the return to the favor of simple cells is becoming a fact.
