Why doesn’t the Ministry of Internal Affairs start conducting the matriculation exams!? –

/ world today news/ The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) is contacting the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for reports made in the media in connection with information published in the public space about the trading of answers for the state matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature, the Ministry of Education announced.

In the ministry of Todor Tanev, they expect “that the specialized state bodies will carry out thorough inspections, the results of which will be informed to the public”.

We declare that the MES team has made maximum efforts for the reliability of the exam material. From the bank of test tasks for the exam in Bulgarian language and literature, the theoretically possible combinations of tasks are over 11,000,000. The exam variant is generated in front of the media by a randomly selected journalist in the building of the Ministry of Education and Science. The final version is compiled and published on a secure site, with schools receiving the password to access the materials at 8 o’clock.

In the event of a leak of information by employees of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the education system, the leadership of the ministry will take the administrative and disciplinary measures provided for in the law.

On the occasion of useful “information” distributed on social networks about a specific author out of 15 possible ones included in the study and examination program, the Ministry of Education and Culture states that these are speculations that are naive to believe.

Based on media reports with specific facts about trading in exam test answers, the Ministry of Education and Science created a working group to analyze any information received and propose an effective solution to increase security in the conduct of future exam campaigns. The leadership of the Ministry of Education and Culture believes that the equality of students in participating in national external assessments and state matriculation exams is a moral issue that is of significant public interest for the overall development of our country.

The administration of the MES appeals to all stakeholders with the confidence that an atmosphere of intolerance will be created for unregulated activities in the examination campaigns. We expect reasoned reports of violations and productive proposals to increase exam security.
