For his part, Jospeh Robinson of Fish Jelly Films noted: ”Anyone who has seen more than three episodes of Dateline and had sex more than twice could write a better erotic thriller.”

”With poor directing decisions, lame dialogue, and unnecessary plot twists, Perry’s latest film is best viewed as a lame guilty pleasure,” ScreenRant’s Brittany Witherspoon wrote.

Despite criticism from several prominent columnists, the film was positioned on Netflix within the top 10 most viewed titles this weekend.
