MEXICO CITY (apro).- The publicist Carlos Alazraki broadcast a video on the social networks of his channel Atypical Te Ve in which he addresses the issue of his recent dismissal as a columnist for the newspaper El Universal
A week ago, Alazraki said goodbye to the readers of the column that he maintained for four years in the capital newspaper.
“On Tuesday afternoon, January 24, I received a call from my dear brother and editor-in-chief of the Best Newspaper in Mexico, David Aponte, to inform me that the Weekly Letter for this Thursday the 26th would be the last Letter that I will write in my dear El Universal newspaper,” said Alazraki at the time, adding that for him the reasons “were obvious and there was no need to delve deeper.”
He even said that he hoped to return to that newspaper on October 8, 2024, his birthday, “once Morena has been destroyed and freedom of expression has been restored in our beautiful and beloved Mexico.”
This Thursday, the publicist, a critic of the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, published a video in the section “Las cartas de Alazraki” in Atypical Te Ve, in which he recalled his beginnings as a newspaper contributor, and in that context he referred to his departure from the capital newspaper.
“Why did they kick me out of El Universal? To be honest I have no idea. And the net net, I don’t care either. Who ran me? It’s irrelevant, it doesn’t matter.
“Are you going to shut my mouth up? Of course not. Am I going to keep writing? Of course. Are you going to change the way you express yourself? Of course not, it’s the only way I know how to speak,” Alazraki said in the video.
The publicist spoke about the first two years of his medium Atypical Te Ve and announced that from this platform he will continue to fight so that Morena and the 4T “go to hell in 2024.”
