In the 90s, there was no actor so desired on Colombian television as Edmundo Troya. He had it all, talent, beauty, charisma and fortune, a perfect formula that made him the most sought-after actor, his soap operas proved to be a hit. At that time there was no actor with his success, the Caleño starred in 15 novels in a row.
Edmunto Troya gave up his job and career as a business administrator in the 1980s to dedicate himself to his great passion, acting. It was Julio César Luna who helped him in his first foundations in acting when he gave him his precarious resume because he had no experience in the field. However, the actor asked the director for just one opportunity, who gave it to him with the role of mechanic in the novel ‘La Rosa de los Vientos’. Since then he rose to stardom, in 1992 he starred in ‘Sangre de Lobos’ with the beautiful Aura Cristina Geither. He also acted in ‘Milagros de amor’, ‘Rauzán’, ‘Taboo’, ‘Curse of paradise’ and ‘La Casa de las Dos Palmas’, among many others.
