Sunday afternoon, the DFCO – RC Lens meeting was to be the opportunity for Mounir Chouiar (21) to cross swords with his training club. However, the Burgundian winger did not take part in the match lost by Dijon (0-1). Worse, he wasn’t even on the scoresheet although he wasn’t injured.
At the end of the meeting, the new DFCO coach David Linarès was launched on this surprise absence while Mounir Chouiar was announced in the group the day before. The winger trained at La Gaillette was simply punished for a delay in the rally in greening: “The key word is professionalism, he is a young player, he still has things to learn. We cannot tolerate these behaviors ”.
The reunion between Mounir Chouiar and RC Lens is therefore scheduled for the return match in Bollaert on February 21. If the Dijon winger is still there after the Winter Mercato of course …
